Learn a little more about Valerie

Valerie Jenkins Gertsenberger and Jean Schae$er were major influences in the beginning of Workshop. I was lucky to work with both. Performing here gave me the chance to make lifelong friends with those who founded this theatre as a place to explore the theatre arts.

As the Drama Director of Marion L Steele High School, I was able to bring students back to Workshop to experience excellent WSP shows as well as the professional Great Lakes touring productions that came to WSP. How cool was that?

I will do everything I can to assure this theatre remains open for future theatre lovers.
