The classic Pulitzer Prize winning play Harvey will come to life on the the Workshop Players’ stage for our spring offering. Elwood P. Dowd, a gracious gentleman, loved by all, except his sister, Veta and her daughter, Myrtle Mae, is best friends with a Pooka… a giant rabbit that only he can see. Embarrassed by these seeming hallucinations Veta tries to place her brother in an institution, but  confusion reigns and they institutionalize her by mistake. It isn’t  easy to untangle the error, but  Elwood and his invisible companion play a vital role and all’s well that ends well. Even Veta and Myrtle Mae agree!
