Learn a little more about Tim

My journey with Workshop Players Theatre began several years ago as an audience member, attending performances with my wife, Tammy. I made my stage debut in Season 73 as a volunteer cast member in Every Brilliant Thing, directed by Kristina Rivera. I had just one “line”—well, not really a line, just a word— “NO,” repeated when prompted. But it was enough to spark an interest in becoming more involved with this quaint little theatre.

Eventually, I filled out the volunteer form in the program at one of the shows we attended. I’ve always been more of a behind-the-scenes type, so I checked most of the boxes on the production side, with a preference for running lights and sound. Since then, I’ve served as the board operator for eight shows, beginning with Twelve Angry Jurors in Season 75 and continuing through the first four shows of Season 77. At the end of Season 76, I was honored to be asked to join the Board of Directors and enjoy helping out wherever and whenever I’m needed.

Being part of Workshop Players has been most rewarding. The people I’ve met here have become true friends, and I’ve gained a deep appreciation for the countless hours and teamwork it takes to bring a show from the page to the stage. I’m grateful to play even a small role in helping create the magic our audiences experience.
