Learn a little more about Miki

I’m not dramatic…I’m theatrical! I always loved going to plays, but NEVER thought I’d be in one…until 1986 when I worked with Caron Kelley at Ed Mullinax Ford.  I was in the audience for so many shows until one day in 1994 she asked me to audition for REHEARSAL FOR DESIRE…I wanted the part that had ONE line and she cast me in the part that had TWO lines (Actress 2). Being a part of that show brought me so much joy I kept auditioning! THE DEATH AND LIFE OF SNEAKY FITCH, COME BACK TO THE FIVE AND DIME JIMMY DEAN, JIMMY DEAN, ALL MY SONS, CRITIC’S CHOICE, ONCE UPON A MATTRESS…and then I got married and had a baby…I still came to see shows, but really wanted to be back on stage!  In 2023 I got my chance in ARSENIC AND OLD LACE…and then COVID hit several cast members, but blessed to do it again in 2024! Most recently performed in CHRISTMAS BELLES and for a change helped behind the scenes (which I loved) in SAME TIME NEXT YEAR! I recently talked to Caron Kelley and updated her on my adventures with Workshop Players.  I think I made her proud! I’m so excited to be a part of this landmark theater! “There is no real ending.
